LOVE LIFE!

Love is the base on which the whole of Creation stands. Love knows no boundaries, and is limitless. The Love in us that we carry from our birth to death is the God filled unconditional love. But we have turned that unselfish Love into one which reeks of  selfishness for the materialistic purposes of the world

“When you adopt the viewpoint that there is nothing that exists that is not part of you, that there is no one who exists who is not part of you, that any judgment you make is self-judgment, that any criticism you level is self-criticism, you will wisely extend to yourself an unconditional love that will be the light of the world.”  – Harry Palmer

1 John 4 19-21 of the Bible tells us:

We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And He has given us this command: ‘Whoever loves God must also love his brother.’ 

Many of us make a claim about our relationship with God, showing others that we are very close to God. But that love does not include ‘love towards others’. We only pretend to love in front of others, whereas we carry the burden of hate in our hearts.

The easier, (that is loving our brother whom we have seen), must precede the more difficult, that is, loving God whom we have not seen. Love towards God and man must co-exist with each other.

However, when we love people we show our love to God. Jesus’ statement recorded in Matthew 25:40 gives us this very principle. He said, “I tell you the Truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” 

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, Thank you for loving us unconditionally..Your limitless and never-ending Love has bound us together. But we play the hate game with one another and still profess love to You. Forgive us for all the loveless acts that we do. May we Love each other as You have. Examine our hearts and teach us the depth of true love towards You, mankind and ourselves. Let Absolute Love sustain us through our lives. In Your Name. Amen.
