Acknowledging the Power above us and humbling ourselves before the Source always gives us the feeling of ‘being taken care of’. We all need to be taken care of, even spiritually, whatever may be our age. We need to belong to the Higher Self or Source. That is why we experience a ‘hollow space’ within us that never seems to get satiated with worldly stuff. However much we have, we still yearn for that ‘Something’ to fill us .
So, when in Prayer , we must give praise and thanks to God who has brought us so far. Meditate on the good things that have happened in our lives lately and thank the Lord for that. ( For, if we were to take the long-drawn-list of our lives, then we would never have to end the prayer…such would be the goodness list that has filled our lives.)
PRAY OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Sitting in our comfort zones and praying halfheartedly or a hurried, meaningless prayer is not going to enhance our ‘spiritual need’. Just like our other needs, we have to fulfill the longings of being in communion with the Maker, Our Lord. So let us utilize these days of prayer fruitfully.
Prayer is Spiritual Warfare. We are fighting it out against so many legions out there in the unseen world . That is why we need to be very potent with respect to the way of praying. It is taking the risk of a battle between us and those forces which try to pull us down. We must keep ourselves, our family and loved ones always in the Protective Light. Let no harm come to them and to us.
Keeping all this in mind, let us call for God’s presence to be with us wherever we are and to keep us safe in His Fold
Prayer:
Dear Lord, Thank you for being everywhere. Thank you for never leaving me, my family, loved ones, friends or those I care for, to journey alone..Your Presence goes with us from the moment we open our eyes till we close them at night. Let us always live in awe of Your Mighty Splendor. Keep our hearts at Peace so that we may find comfort in Your Presence all the time. In your Name. Amen.
May God bless us, all our loved ones and keep us safe in His Comforting presence. Let Peace Abound!!
