There is this Small, Soft Voice (apart from other voices) inside all of us that whispers all day long, guiding us, giving us directions, choosing between right and wrong. No one else has a say in the conversation between the Voice and us. It is completely private. But do we ever heed to this voice? Do we act upon it? Very rarely. When we do wrong , it prompts us to get back to the right track. Do we listen? If we did, we would not have so many doubts, weighing us down. We would follow the right path.
“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.”
Hebrews 3:15 of the Bible tells us:
Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.
His voice. That is the voice of God, Intuition, Inner Voice whatever we may want to call it. No doubt that we all have more than a dozen voices in the head, jabbering all at once and claiming for attention. According to the situation at hand, they can grow in volume or quieten down. When many voices speak at once, listen to the one most quiet and gentle. That’s the one.
His Voice. Listen to it. Practice listening to the inner voice; ask questions; be curious; see what needs to be seen; hear what needs to be heard; and then act upon what is known to be true and right.
For, at the core of our heart, we are perfect and pure. The Spark of the Divine in us. Nothing can alter that.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, Thank You for always prompting us from the inside. We know that the Right Intelligence is provided to us at the right time, but we refuse to take heed to it. We think we know much. Forgive us for our foolish thoughts. Place in us the Wisdom that we need. May we never ignore the voice within. Guide us through every moment of the day. Fill us with Your Wisdom and Grace. In Your Name. Amen
God bless us in Abundance.
